Byrd out of hospital

Happily, WV Senator Robert C Byrd is out of the hospital, after winning a battle which would have killed most ordinary 91-year olds.

Now that he's conquered the staph infection, we can find out who has actually been doing his job, and deal with the staff infection problem.

Customer Andy Crihfield had this idea for fixing fresh corn-on-the-cob.

"He suggests wrapping an ear of corn still in its husk in a wet paper towel and cooking it in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. If you're fixing two ears, cook for 4 minutes.

"That way the corn steams and is just perfect," he explained."

A new report published this week by researchers at Stanford University suggests that Americans spend 90% of each day staring at, interacting with, and deriving satisfaction from glowing rectangles.
